Ok, so I did it, I chopped up a book! what fun! I've done one of these before but this time I decided to leave the pages uncovered which having cut them all presented a bit of a challenge to stick them back together again.
I spread glue and glitter everywhere (Patty LOL!)
The black and gold theme is in keeping with the black cover
I stamped Marie Antoinette and painted her but she's so badly dressed she clashes with EVERYTHING, I think she'll have to wait for another venue, don't know what I was thinking?? I blame the light, I mean really, her hair is orange!!

Yep - book her into the hairdressers and carry on! lol, can't wait to see this when it's finished! :) P
Looks sooo gorgeous! :o)
Your niche within a niche book is fabulous! I wish you weren't so far away so I could visit during your "studio hours". I love your style!
I just Love the ancient look you achieved here Margaret, the glitter and crackle are fantastic as are the uneven pages = really brilliant AND I would not be at all surprised if Marie had orange hair at one time ;)
I am still thinking about your crusty bread and cheese breakfast oh I enjoy a 'good' loaf of bread, if it's warm then look out :)
Did I mention that I will now be looking for my glitter....you've inspired me! Again such a brilliant creation.
Hey, I have had orange hair before, and not on purpose either!
I do LOVE the book, it came out just beautiful! BEAUTIFUL!
For me it's like open a book and find inside a treasure...
Beautiful artwork!
