Xmas banner

I got up this morning thinking I would get on with the 6 mini banner pieces I need to complete for a swap by the end of the month. I had a feeling I would probably like the finished article but didn't realise quite how much! I so very rarely keep what I make but I've decided these are going nowhere! my DH is always bemoaning the fact that the good stuff goes out the door and this time I agree! I still have enough fabric to make another three so will begin again.
I cut two fabric pieces and sandwiched a piece of altered music between then sewed the whole thing together
I picked up the lace from the local secondhand shop

I agree, your banners are keepers! I love that they are not cut and sewn perfectly straight and even. You are an inspiration!

Your banners are beautiful, I'm not surprised you have decided to keep them. You sound like me, I hardly have any of my own stuff, it all gets given away and I have nothing but memories left to show

I just love those banners! Just awesome. I learned a while back, that I now make duplicates of things for swaps, because I usually end up loving them and wanting to keep them too! Who ever gets the next set of banners is one lucky person!

I would never have thought I would like to make banners, but yours are so much fun to look at, I just may have to try some!
Thanks for showing them.
Happy days,
Joanie
