Treasure box

Today I recieved a box from Nathalie http://nathaliethompson.blogspot.com/ that seriously made my eyes water. Quite some time ago we promised each other a few goodies and Nathalie actually managed to get hers in the post (I think mine has stuck itself to the table as it's been there so long) Will you just look at all those stamps!!! if I did that the Swiss Post would be having words!
A box to end all boxes, collaged by Nathalie, I can't describe how fabulous it is to have this in my hands, the photo really doesn't do it justice, absolutely gorgeous!
And inside the box another box, full of goodies to swoon over (the kids have run off with the sweets)
And oddles of library cards which I've been clutching since their arrival, love it all.
Thank you so much Nathalie and thank you Blogland and the friendships you bring.

Mission accomplished! I had really hoped that you wouldn't dislike the cigar box, so I guess I did pretty well! Hee hee.
I admire your work so much, so I wanted to do something very special and unique.
As for the plastered postage... Ha ha. Our postage tate just went up so the post mistress is using up old postage. With all those stars and stripes, there's no doubting where the package came from. Ha!

Helen and I were just talking about library cards and how wonderful it was to find one in a second hand library book when you bought it. The old handwriting on them is what makes them. I love the front pages of old books too, where they have written their name and address, or a short note to the person they gave the book to!
