I promised myself when the kids went back to school I would too, online that is
I can't be making journals and not filling or ruining them
with my dreadful handwriting!
There are loads of courses around
offering various levels and techniques
but after a hot tip from Linda
I enrolled in Teresa McFayden's 'Letter Whimsy 1' course
I felt I needed to start with the basics and this course takes you right back to the beginning
I bought myself a few hideously expensive but superbly good Copics
and together with the pens I've collected along the way I've made a start
can't wait to download the next lesson!

Great start!
I really should follow your example because I always like seeing other people's artwork with their own writing on but I don't like mine :o(
I really like the lettering you've achieved already.

OMG...I soooo need that course M!! I hate my writing and usually tend to stamp on my journal pages!
...and what you have done already is looking good! :)

Looking good - will watch your progress with interest ;-)
Looks like you should get a A+ from what I can see. Block letters have always been difficult for me. But I haven't made my project from the last class I took...
You are such a good student! Great work!!!
Looks like you are off to a wonderful start dear M...it must be a fun class!
oxo
looks like loads of fun M.....takes me back to my school days too...
I would have been here sooner, but we got rain and tornadoes last night. A bit bumpy for awhile. I agree that those copics are hideously expensive. I guess that's why I've never bought any (grin). But if it helps your journaling skills, that's all that's important.
Fantastic! And don't you love those Copics?!
Wonderful stuff Margaret! You are an inspiration!
love the whimsy look of the lettering..I need to get some new markers..looking forward to seeing your results.❤
