A stitch with a twist

I went on a course last week
and I  learnt a few things
 well a lot actually...
so much easier than trying to teach myself from a book!
The 'Stitchin' day was based around the work of Léa Stansal
check out the links here and here
(traslation available)
now I find myself staying up all hours of the night...
watching mindless TV and stitching
like I need this in my schedule right now
kid's summer hols just around the corner...

This is gorgeous. I love what you are stitching. I SO wish I could grip a needle. It's really lovely and so very well done. All your stitches are so precise.

BTW, I was by earlier to leave a comment on your postcards, but I wasn't able to log into blogger, so was unable to leave you a message since you don't allow anonymous comments.

Just wanted to say, I really enjoyed both these postcards, especially the black and white one.

I have a soft spot for embroidery so enjoyed very much seeing your beautiful stitching.

Wowser those flowers look complicated to do but they are just fabulously pretty. Get the kids winding balls of thread for you over the holidays, they'll be overjoyed with that suggestion no doubt :-)

Hopefully you get the chance to keep up with the sewing over the next few months so you don't forget any of it!
