Boo!

We were invited to a vampire party on Saturday night in Castle Sargans, now, not being a regular vampire party goer I struggled a bit to find a costume but after borrowing and buying I managed to cobble something together (will NOT be showing pics!) The birthday gal had requested money for an upcoming trip so DH spent Fri evening trying to fold a bat out of a banknote and I altered a box, the base and handle were from Ikea, the rest is scrapped with a bit of paint, lace and decos stuck on.
Absoulutely amazing atmosphere with the mist rolling around

I can only imagine what a neat experience it would be to actually party in a real working castle! I visited lots of ruins while staying in germany, and couldn't believe how much atmosphere they had! Ooooh you lucky thing! Love the gift you made and the bat idea!

Oh how lovely. And the shadow box was beautiful. I just love shadow boxes. Can never get enough of them. Continue to admire your art and your experiences.
