Calm, peaceful thoughts

In lieu of art today I bring you the Church at the end of my garden, no matter the weather it always manages to look special. A tummy virus is sweeping through the local Kindergarten and unfortunately it arrived at ours with avengence in the early hours of this morning. I'll spare you the details, suffice is to say it wasn't a lot of fun. I've now decided to replace the missing teapot with a mop and bucket, seems more appropriate somehow! J has conked out on the sofa and I'm hoping for a happier soul when he wakes. Fingers crossed it leaves the rest of us alone

What a beautiful photo. Peaceful indeed. Serene, even.

I hope the virus passes you by also. I hold this to be true... moms can't get sick because there is no one to take care of them! haha!

Hope everyone is right as rain sooner than later :)
Now that beautiful church tower does it have a bell or chime to go with??? That is always included in my 'feelings' about villages in Europe, the church bells are so....wonderful and take me back to being a little girl near Munich!

This is a wonderful picture! It looks like an illustration for a story book.
Merry Christmas!

This picture is amazing. I had to take a double. Very surreal and so inspirational to have such beautiful architecture next door....I live next to a mortuary ...hmmm, wonder what that means?
