I couldn't quite decide what to do with this canvas and it's ended up with rather a lot of layers, paint, paper, fabric, gel and more! I also added some wax although the photo doesn't really do it justice, the colours are a lot deeper than shown
I stitched around the canvas print from http://artcreationsfriday.blogspot.com/ and attached it with gel medium. This also has a layer of wax and it now looks more like paper than fabric.I covered the back with a sheet of music, a splash of acrylic and wax

Beautiful canvas!
I love this Margaret - so many elements and textures all coming together brilliantly.
Wow..this is fantastic, Margaret. The textures, the elements and the colors make a stunning piece. Just beautiful.
what a beautiful canvas!! love all about it!
Terrific canvas! How dit you get the picture on the canvas?
greetings, Ezzie
wow what a gorgeous canvas!!!
I LOVE the layers! My work always ends up lots of layers. I can never plan it precisely, it always evolves as I work on it. I guess that means I'll never be able to do those lovely simple artworks that I see other people do.
How have I NOT commented on this yet? And 7 others have beat me to it! Your layers of indecision look beautiful! WHERE do you display all of your art?- you make so much of it! You are so prolific (thr word sounds and looks weird, but I'm sure it's what I mean! haha).
Oh, and I have an award for you on my blog. :) I just realized that most of the recipients are ones I found through your links!
Oh, I'm definitely going to come back here and explore your blog. I came over from Natalie Thompson's blog as a fellow award recipient!
Love your style,
Lorrie
Margaret, I just found your blog through Nathalie Thompson's "An Artist's Legacy" blog. Congrats on the "Beautiful Blog Award". Nathalie says "Hello!"
I love what you are doing with this canvas. I am so amazed at what you have combined in this one amazing piece. This may sound weird, but it is almost as if it is telling you what it wants as you go along. This canvas really has a voice.
It's nice to meet you!
Christine
Margaret, this is very beautiful!
Beautiful canvas , i love all the layers and texture Jenox
I love this piece. There is so much texture and so many layers. The second photograph captures it so well. And I find the muted colors to be very soothing. Thanks too for the comment on my blog!
