Messrs Butterby and Wood (how much do you love those names??) would like to report the appearance of some kind of seismic activity at the foot of one of their letters, oh what to do, what to do??
The resident crafter in all her wisdom decided to remove some of the aforementioned activity, but wait! the letter is attached with Gesso to a piece of fabric ensuring the offending holes will remain for eternity, eek! a sure and certain task for the NPB (Net and Paint Brigade)

This is looking good! I love the staring look in the photo, like the earthquake has really ticked him off and interrupted his very serious business with Mr Butterby.
The seismic activity linked with the old invoice made me think straight away of the 1931 earthquake here in Napier, New Zealand and the devastation to the local businesses and how they set up shops straight away again in a little "tin town" built on the town square to get people trading again immediately.

I am in awe of how you assemble some unlikely pieces and it looks FAB! I even don't mind the sizemic bit you personally found not quite right. I am a horrible critique-- I just LOVE everything you do! heehee
