Boxed part 2

I'm on a bit of a roll with the box altering at the moment. I'm quite enjoying this size and format and once I get started the ideas just start to flow. Nathalie sent me an old sheet of newspaper a while ago and I've only just now plucked up the courage to cut into it!
I added a piece of lace to cover up the hole I made in the paper!

the whole box is wrapped in a lovely rich red velvet ribbon, left over from Christmas!

I used up the last of my all time favourite flea market braid, I had about 2m and I've used it on everything!

You make a great assemblage, Margaret. It is stunning. I have several questions, though. Is the box wood? Is it the other half of the bells box? Are those "inchies?" Are you tired of my questions (grin)?

Such a great look...and really so unique.

te lace adds to its beauty & I love the dainty rose.
I keep enlarging the little images as I've started to do some " inchies "

Lovely box & the old newspaper is delightful

I love any and every assemblage you do and this one is no exception! I also need to send you more paper. You treat it like gold and I have it sitting on the window seat in my dining room collecting dust!!! I wonder if I could sell sheets of it in my etsy shop? hmmmmm. ;) You know me, always trying to merchandise my trash, erm, treasures!
