I was sent a little tip to check out Amy's birthday issue of inspired ideas which is a rather fab Online mag packed full of arty projects! of course the one that immediately caught my eye was a dress assemblage by MessieJessie I drifted slightly(!) off track fiddling around with the dress and then decided I needed a wire gal to show off my designs!
if a gal's going to wear a floaty dress with flowers in her hair then where would she most like to be?? in the garden on a swing, of course!!
la la la...
oh watch out, here comes the competition
give a gal a bit of Cath Kidston and Grandma's old lace and she thinks she's Queen for a day! more , I need to make more of these...
BTW Oma loved the invites, not at all what she'd imagined!! that's good right??!! and yes Linda and Kate before you start nagging I will open my ETSY shop soon...

Very inspirational and the perfect addition to a summer "outing." They really ARE Queens for a day (or longer). And so glad to read your Oma liked the invitations. And surprises are always good, especially when they are from a lovingly made invitation.
It's all so wonderful! And do I get ANY credit for the tip? I don't see it on the blog.... perhaps it's in the newspaper? hmmmmm fomsl (falling off my swing laughing)

Well worth the wait! LOVE the dresses and your swingin' wirey models. If only it were that easy to create an ensemble for oneself--out of book pages, muslin and tattered Cath Kidston!
just fabulous!
