Punch/cut out artwork has been around for a while
I've seen everything from hearts and birds to trains and planes
but blueskybutterflystudio really caught my eye
as Kate said in her blog post
there's something rather mesmerising about this kind of repetitive work
all the same but somehow different
of course mine have ended up anything less than tidy
I used another of my map canvases
tea dyed ripped squares
my fav colours
fab!

This is absolutely STUNNING, dear Margaret. I actually like your interpretation of these better than the original (thanks for the link). I think it's partly because that background is SO appealing with the tea dyed canvas.
You asked awhile back (and I finally read your comment) about rubbing alcohol. I think it may be called mineral spirits where you live, but I could be wrong. If you can find it, it will be with antiseptics in your local drug or grocery store, if that helps. Sorry I can't be more specific, but it is definitely called "Isopropyl Alcohol, but we just call it "rubbing alcohol."
